Use the following cheat code to achieve the result displayed in the video below.

Some interesting trivia notes about this cheat code:
- The cheat code ending in "0002", this is what works to turn the switch off (changing the last four digits of this code to "0005" will, for example, make the HUD System always visible, where as "0002" hides the HUD system). to make it so that the HUD (Life, Energy, etc. bars) are not displayed any longer. This adds for a more visually rich gameplay, instead of seeing the clutter on the screen you just see the amazing 3D world of Mega Man Legends. What more could a player ask for?!
- This cheat code works perfectly in my experience, it was found somewhere on MMLS Forums.
