Use the following cheat code to achieve the result displayed in the video below.
- It is important to take note, when you use this "fog" modifier cheat code, when you turn it off it will NOT go back to normal gameplay visuals. How can this be fixed then without having to reset the console/game? I can explain: So, when you want to go back to normal gameplay the simplest way I can put it is turn off the "fog" modifier code you turned on originally, and turn this code on instead: 80204924 0001 | That should help to solve the problem of the code being "stuck turned on even after I turned it off" which will come about if one doesn't know what to expect when using this code.
Basically you just reverse the code by turning the last 2 digits of the code you originally edited back to a lower amount like '00' which should be baseline (I haven't tested it myself yet though!) or '01'.
- Fog Intensity Modifier (this is the code without anything entered, you will have to alter the last 2 digits as in you will have to edit the 'xx' part of the cheat code to get it to function properly | Use values 00-FF, when editing the last 2 digits of the code! below this one, is the other versions which I have tested so-far as of the date I am uploading this video. I intend to experiment more with it in the future)
- Fog Intensity Modifier (extremely overwhelming "fog", to where the player cannot see a thing.. basically... | This is the cheat code in-use at this ' 1:21 - 4:14 ' timestamp in the video below)
- Fog Intensity Modifier (Limited Fog! | This is the cheat code in-use at this ' 4:45 - 5:30 ' timestamp in the video below)
- ***** Fog Intensity Modifier ("Medium" Fog! This is perhaps my favorite one to make-use of, personally!! | This is the cheat code in-use at this ' 7:05 - 15:55 ' timestamp | This one is my favorite I've found so-far, it is just-bearable if you ask me and makes the game a little bit more interesting to play in this manner and it glitches out at some spots like in the Apple Market haha!)
Some interesting trivia notes about this cheat code:
- This code is interesting, I didn't create the name. The creator of this cheat code, or someone else online, penned the title. It is called "Fog" but it is basically the background texture and it is like it makes it move closer to the player. This cheat code might be doing a little bit more than just that, but overall it is making the texture for the background (the background texture behind the terrain) move onto the terrain and the more you edit the last 2 digits of the code and move them upwards, the closer it will become to the player (MegaMan). If you go too high like I did in the demonstration video above, when you edit the last 2 digits of the cheat code, you will end up to where you won't even be able to see what is going on, but still move around on the terrain. Editing the last 2 digits of the original '80204924 00xx' code and changing 'xx' to 'CC' was for example overwhelming as seen in the video above. However, when I used a different edited version of the modifier, and changed the last 2 digits of the cheat code to '20' instead of 'CC', it worked fairly nice if you ask me. It moved the "fog" close enough to the player's model, to make it interesting to play with the code turned on, and it wasn't absolutely overwhelming. You can edit this one as you please, technically you can do that with any code (you never know what you may find! haha!!).
